About The Position
Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a Patient Transporter. This is a full-time position located in Suffolk, VA. The Patient Transporter safely escorts and transports patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. The role strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara and requires clear communication with all staff, visitors, and patients. The Patient Transporter ensures adequate communication of information between central transport and other departments.
