The Patient Transporter is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from therapy and other related duties as may be assigned.
Transport patients to and from therapy and other related duties.
Adhere to the company's Standards of Business Conduct.
Maintain current licensure and/or certifications, if applicable.
Work as necessary during disaster situations, i.e., before, during or after a disaster.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge and ability equivalent to a high school diploma or GED or work experience in a related job.
Ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively.
Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
Ability to work independently without supervision.
Good visual acuity and ability to communicate.
Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds.
Ability to walk continuously through assigned shift.
