Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Responsibilities
- Patient Mobility: Moving patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed, often managing complex attachments like oxygen tanks, IV pumps, and monitors.
- Safe Transfers: Assisting patients in and out of vehicles and between beds and transport devices using proper body mechanics.
- Logistics & Lab Support: Delivering medical equipment and lab specimens to the correct departments to ensure testing and treatments stay on schedule.
- Sensitivity & Respect: Handling delicate tasks.
- Customer Service: Serving as a front-line guide for patients and visitors by providing directions and a welcoming environment.
