About The Position

Patient Transporter - PRN (Per Needed Basis) - 15-20 hours a week on average. We are looking for a non-emergency patient transporter, you would provide transportation for our surgical patients' day of surgery. This service provides a high level of customer service ultimately increasing patients and surgical volume. Responsibilities: Transports patients by picking them up at their private home in a safe and professional manner and driving them to our Surgery Center on the day of their procedure. Afterwards safely delivers them home. Ensures all patients sign waiver of transportation Driver ensures the patient is left with a family or friend and is not left alone. All other miscellaneous duties as requested by management. Follows transportation policies and protocols. Must possess a passion for helping people and enjoy customer service. Monday thru Friday. All interested must be 25 years of age, have an excellent driving record, as well as background, and be drug free.
