Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR certification
- This is a physical job that calls for excellent communication and people skills.
- Transporters need the strength to help lift patients, the stamina to spend all day of their feet, and the communication skills to work with patients, families, and hospital staff.
Responsibilities
- Transports patients to/from nursing units, treatment areas, and diagnostic areas safely and with respect for privacy and confidentiality
