About The Position

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, in Williamsburg, VA, is currently hiring a Patient Transporter. This will be for a Part Time, Day Shift position. Hours Must be available to work between the hours of 9:30a - 6pm Primairly Mon-Fri, but must be able to work weekends, as needed Overview Safely escorts and transports patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. Strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. Communicates clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients. Ensures adequate communication of information between central transport and other departments.

Requirements

High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
BLS
Previous patient care experience (Required)

Responsibilities

Safely escorts and transports patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics.
