As a Patient Transporter, you'll provide a reassuring presence while escorting patients throughout our hospital. Full Time Role - 40 Hours a Week
Shifts M-F 13:00-2130, 2 holidays per year.
Rotating Holidays and Works Every Third Weekend
Specific Shift Availability will be discussed during Interview
Involves Lots of Walking Across the BJH Campus.
Requires Direct Patient Interaction
Partnership with BILD for Career Development and Growth
The Patient Transporter transports patients and/or items such as lab specimens and x-ray films to and from patient rooms and ancillary areas in a timely manner. Provides an acceptable flow of customer and miscellaneous items to and from different treatment areas, physician's offices, and other areas throughout the medical complex.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• No Experience

Nice To Haves

• Basic Cardiovascular Life Sup
• CPR/AED

Responsibilities

• Transports and lifts non-ambulatory patients, x-rays, medical records, specimens, and other special deliveries throughout hospital campus. Pays close attention to patient safety protocols.
• Keeps equipment clean and functional.
• Completes assigned tasks within department expectations.
