About The Position
Quality Care seeks a Patient Transporter to join our downtown Rochester, MN team, Monday-Friday 6 am to 2 pm. As a Patient Transporter, your primary responsibility will be assisting patients by transporting them from their rooms or designated areas to appointments and returning them after appointments.
Requirements
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate care and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license
- Customer Service Experience
- 18 years old minimum at time of application
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in healthcare or a similar setting is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport patients to and from appointments within the facility.
- Ensure patients are comfortable and secure during transport.
- Communicate with patients in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner.
- Follow all hospital protocols and safety procedures.
- Assist with any necessary mobility aids or equipment during transport.
