About The Position

Patient Transporter at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts. The Lift/Transportation Associate demonstrates the capacity to assist staff in the safe lifting, transferring and/or transporting of patients as specified by the direct Supervisor/Lead. Other responsibilities include transporting and lifting patients, assisting in the care of patients requiring moderate to total assistance in moving, checking and performing corrective action on designated equipment, transporting other items such as specimen transport, blood pick-up, and Central Service pick-up and identifies and reports changes of abnormal findings in patient status such as consciousness, pain, bleeding and vital signs that occur during the lift or transporting. Requirements

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months CNA/RNA/PSA with patient care experience in an acute hospital setting

Responsibilities
