As a Patient Transporter, you will play an important role in the safety of our patients by assisting nurses with moving/transporting patients throughout the facility with various equipment, including wheelchairs and stretchers. Transporters are constantly on the move in this fast-paced environment, walking the equivalent of 10-15 miles per shift! You will have the opportunity to build relationships with the goal of making an impact on our patients at such an important time in their lives. You will be joining our very energetic engaged Clinical Care Operations (CCO) team that we like to call family! Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required (must meet AHA curriculum guidelines). We are filling Part Time positions, (3 weekly 8 hour varied shifts from 10:00am-6:30pm, 12:30pm-8:00pm and 2:00pm -10:00pm), with weekend and holiday rotations required. Enjoy a flat rate $1/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-night shift differential when applicable. POSITION SUMMARY This position transports patients and distributes requested items as needed throughout the facility in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols.
