As a Patient Transporter, you will play a vital role in the safety of our patients by assisting nurses with moving/transporting patients throughout the facility with various equipment, including wheelchairs and stretchers. You will constantly be on the move in this fast-paced environment, walking the equivalent of 10-12 miles per shift! Available schedules: FT Day shift (3 days, 12 hours shifts) 8:00am-8:30pm FT Day shift (3 days, 12 hour shifts) 9:00am-9:30pm FT Evening shift (3 days, 12 hour shifts) 12:00pm-12:30am Requires weekend and holiday rotations $1/hr. weekend shift differential and 18% night shift differential when applicable Additional schedules: FT Day shift (5 days, 8 hours shifts) Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm Banner Boswell Medical Center has provided exceptional health care to the communities in the northwest area of metro-Phoenix for over five decades. POSITION SUMMARY This position transports patients and distributes requested items as needed throughout the facility in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols.
