Get to Know Your Team: Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees, and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.
Requirements
- Physically able to transport patients by wheelchairs, stretchers, and/or beds.
- Ability to work independently utilizing a beeper.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Heavy pulling, pushing, and lifting are required (50 lbs or more).
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Transport patients from their rooms to various locations.
- Retrieve the proper equipment needed for the transport of patients.
- Complete daily paperwork documenting activity.
- Maintain a safe, healthy working environment.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families by listening to them and showing compassion.
- Perform all other duties assigned.
