About The Position

The Patient Transport position at Endeavor Health involves transporting patients via wheelchair, stretcher, bed, or alternative means under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures. This includes disconnecting and re-connecting patient’s IV pumps from the IV pole and oxygen, as well as delivering patient equipment to nursing floors as needed. The role requires full-time hours from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm with a weekend rotation required.

Requirements

• High-school diploma.
• American Heart Association BLS for healthcare provider or American Red Cross CPR/AED for the professional rescuer certification.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Minimum six months customer service or patient transporter experience.

Responsibilities
