About The Position

The Patient Transporter is responsible for transporting patients to and from floors to the Imaging department at Canton Potsdam Hospital. This role requires training and proficiency with Meditech, eCw, synapse, scanning, and other workflow processes. The transporter will be responsible for pulling and reviewing specialty schedules (MRI, CT, NM), pulling patient orders, and calling to confirm patient appointments. Additionally, the transporter will restock supplies, place the monthly Sywest order, maintain all O2 tanks for the imaging department, and ensure they are filled and maintained. The position may also require covering the front office as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/Equivalent
• BLS within three months of hire
