About The Position

Transports patients from various hospital departments to and from the Diagnostic Services Department.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Successful completion of a patient care aide- training program or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate records of patient transport to and from D.S. Department.
• Utilizes RIS to properly check-in and check-out patients.
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of IVAC pumps, drainage devices, catheters, restraints and oxygen tanks.
• Demonstrates proficiency with regards to stretchers/carts, wheelchairs, O2 tanks, transfer devices and personal protective equipment.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to communicate and provide a safe environment for infants, pediatric, Adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
