About The Position
As a Patient Transporter, you will be responsible for positioning, transferring and transporting patients to and from various departments or locations by wheelchair, bed, or gurney. You may also perform teaching and training functions, dispatching function, and limited clerical duties for the transport function. Other role requirements include equipment maintenance and cleaning or disinfection, delivering and picking up specimens, blood, medical equipment, medical records, medications, and various other items, and transporting deceased patients to the morgue. This is a full-time position eligible for full benefits. Work schedule will be determined by management.
