About The Position

SSM Health Physical Therapy - Outpatient Division is seeking a Patient Transport (Driver) in Warrenton, MO. This is a full-time position with split shift hours, specifically from 6:30am to 11:30am and 1:30pm to 6:00pm. The starting pay for this position is $18.00 per hour, based on experience. Under the direction of the Program Manager, the driver will be responsible for driving company vehicles for pick-ups and deliveries between facilities, as well as assisting the Administration team with daily operations.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Direct patient care experience required.
• Current State Driver's License in good standing required.
• Acquisition of a Class E license allowing for the operation of a bus is required within three months of employment.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a driver required.
• Schedule flexibility.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a School Bus Driver.
• Comfortable driving patients.
• Direct patient and/or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Drives the company vehicles in a safe manner according to the written schedule.
• Maintains company vehicles in a clean condition, both interior and exterior, at all times.
• Coordinates vehicle maintenance schedule and reports problems with vehicles to supervisor.
• Assists with the transport of furniture and supplies between facilities.
• Transports patients from their homes to designated facilities for appointments.
• Delivers interoffice mail to the appropriate facility at designated times.
• Utilizes computer for searching directions and location information.
• Uses GPS for route planning.
