POSITION Patient Transport Driver, day shift, 40 hours per week, on-call for evening and weekends expected

Requirements

Must be 19 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
6 months driving experience preferred. (Experience is defined as having driven a vehicle larger than a car or mini van to transport people on a schedule.)
6 months working with people in a health care environment preferred.
Requires current Module C CPR certification within 1 month of hire.
Must have valid Nebraska driver's license and proof of good driving record to meet insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the safe transportation of customers to and from Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital and the community to meet their various health care needs.
Duties include: driving, escorting clients to and from the vehicle, and preventive maintenance/care of vehicle.
Work will be performed in an ethical and legal manner following organizational policies, processes, protocols and procedures.
Responsible for quality service delivery and internal/external customer relations for Madonna as a whole, including upholding the mission and values for the department and facility.
