Requirements

  • Must have a general understanding of hospital and healthcare services.
  • Possess positive interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Must have the ability to provide conflict resolution and adapt easily to all situations, functioning well under stress.
  • Required Education: HS diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as communication liaison between patient, family, staff and surgeons.
  • Resolves complaints in an efficient and timely manner with support from Patient Representative and/or Manager as needed.
  • Documents complaints, resolutions, and feedback through formalized process.
  • Alerts Patient Relations Manager of potential ethical issues.
  • Supports the rights of each patient.
  • Investigates and retrieves missing patient belongings.
  • Assist with ADA needs.
