About The Position

We are seeking a Patient Support / Dietary Technician who provides exceptional customer service while supporting daily dietary operations within a healthcare environment. This role directly interacts with patients and hospital staff to ensure accurate, timely, and high‑quality meal service.

Requirements

  • Barista experience

  • Previous retail or food service experience
  • 2 years of hospitality experience
  • Knowledge of standard healthcare diets

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service in all interactions with patients, visitors, physicians, coworkers, and hospital staff.
  • Visit patients to assist with menu selections in alignment with prescribed diets.
  • Ensure tray accuracy, diet compliance, and timely delivery of meals.
  • Clean assigned work areas, including sweeping, mopping floors, and maintaining refrigerator cleanliness.
  • Restock food and non‑food supplies in designated work areas.
  • Deliver snacks and supplies to patient care units.
  • Record daily temperatures for food items, freezers, and refrigerators.
  • Support various kitchen operations as needed, including dish room, pots and pans, and trayline activities.
  • Deliver meal trays to patients when required.
  • Sweep and mop floors throughout serving and dining areas.
  • May be cross-trained for additional roles within the department.
