About The Position

The Patient Sitter is responsible for providing direct support and supervision to patients who may be at risk for harm or require assistance with daily activities. This role is essential in ensuring patient safety and comfort during their hospital stay.

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Must be able to respond quickly to patient needs and emergencies
• Must be able to work at any Unity Health facility

Nice To Haves

• Additional education in healthcare preferred
• Previous experiences in a healthcare setting or with patient care is desirable
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
