About The Position

The position involves providing bedside presence to ensure the safety of patients who are a safety risk to themselves or others, disoriented, confused, or under a Baker Act. The sitter will alert nursing staff to any patient care needs and may assist with simple patient needs such as providing water or helping with feeding, but only under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The role requires demonstrating service excellence at all times and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Vocational/Technical School/Diploma preferred.
