About The Position

We are seeking a Patient Shuttle Driver CarePartners PACE Program for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Under the supervision of the Transportation Manager, the Paratransit Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of PACE participants. Including transport of paratransit (ambulatory and wheelchair-bound) participants, durable medical equipment, pharmacy and any other transportation as deemed necessary. Responsible for overall cleanliness and safety of the vehicle assigned on a daily basis. Responsible for communicating any safety issue(s) to the Transportation Manager.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • NC Driver's License, BLS, First Aid.
  • One year experience working with and/or transporting the frail and elderly.
  • Must be 25 years or older with an active NC Drivers License.

Nice To Haves

  • Class B CDL with P Endorsement.
  • Experience as a bus driver for schools or at-risk populations.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and timely transport PACE participants including ambulatory and wheelchair-bound individuals.
  • Transport durable medical equipment and pharmacy items as necessary.
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle.
  • Communicate any safety issues to the Transportation Manager.
