About The Position

Patient Services Specialist at Kadlec Regional Medical Center Under the general supervision of the MGR PATIENT ACCESS/SCHEDULING performs patient registration and pre-registration of scheduled accounts, verifies insurance coverage, benefits, and obtains pre-certification, referral or authorizations as needed per insurance requirements; Participates in the collection of up-front revenue due the facility and provides quality customer service to internal and external customers. At this time, this per‑diem role is not eligible for candidates looking to hold multiple positions Shift Details: Per diem, Variable Shift, 0.4 working hours weekly

Requirements

• 2 years general office experience, which includes public interaction.
• 1 year patient access experience.

Nice To Haves

• Data entry, medical terminology and insurance experience.
• Medical setting experience.
