About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Patient Services Specialist to support a fast‑paced outpatient practice in the Hilliard, Ohio area. This position is ideal for someone who excels in patient‑facing environments, maintains professionalism under pressure, and delivers consistent, high‑quality customer service. The specialist will be responsible for greeting patients, completing registration, verifying insurance information, collecting co‑pays, and assisting new patients with required documentation. Strong multitasking and computer skills are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

At least 1+ year of experience in a medical front desk, patient services, or general front desk/customer service role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and handle a heavy workload.
Strong computer proficiency.
Prior experience in:
Medical or healthcare environments,
Front desk operations,
Patient‑facing customer service.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet each patient with eye contact, a smile, and a positive, professional tone.
Guide new patients through registration paperwork and answer questions as needed.
Complete full patient registration and verify all demographics.
Perform insurance authorizations and verification processes.
Collect co‑pays and follow all payment protocols.
Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.
Assist with overall front‑office workflow to maintain smooth patient operations.
