About The Position

Gundersen Health System is seeking a compassionate and customer-focused Patient Services Specialist to join their growing organization. This role provides superior face-to-face customer service by greeting and assisting patients, families, visitors, and internal customers. The specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating the patient experience by promoting a patient and family-centered atmosphere throughout the check-in and check-out process. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • 6 months experience in an office setting requiring customer service responsibilities
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and technical/computer skills
  • Friendly personality and passion for connecting with/helping people

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior face-to-face customer service in greeting and assisting patients, family, visitors and internal customers
  • Perform an important role in facilitating the patient experience by promoting a patient and family centered atmosphere throughout the check in/out process
