About The Position

We are seeking a patient‑focused, organized Patient Services Specialist to support front desk operations across multiple outpatient clinics. This individual will greet patients, manage check‑in/check‑out functions, handle insurance and billing processes, and deliver excellent customer service in a busy medical environment.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of medical front desk, general front desk, or customer service experience
  • Excellent customer service (in‑person and over the phone)
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload and multitask
  • Highly reliable and punctual
  • Healthcare background preferred but not required
  • Call center experience with strong service skills acceptable

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet every patient with eye contact, a smile, and a positive tone
  • Guide new patients through required paperwork
  • Perform patient registration
  • Answer phones, check voicemails, schedule and follow up on appointments
  • Collect co‑pays and address charge‑related questions
  • Verify insurance and complete authorizations
  • Maintain accurate patient demographics
  • Close out day‑end tasks
  • Use EMR systems: Therapy Source and Rehab Toolkit
  • Document all patient interactions with accuracy and professionalism
