The UW Medical Center Surgical Specialties Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist Supervisor. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a medically related or public relations field
  • Four years of experience as a Patient Services Specialist OR High School graduation OR the equivalent and four years of experience as a Patient Services Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Assists with hiring, onboarding/training, and overall supervision of patient service specialists and/or other assigned staff
  • Customer service to patients, staff and medical team members
  • Ordering of unit supplies, equipment and facilities management
  • Take a proactive role in efficient operations of the clinic
  • Provide internal coverage support to the PSS/PC team for front desk and scheduling across all specialties within the clinic
  • Works with management and leadership team on process improvements, clinic goals, and developing and maintaining policies and procedures
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of operational systems including telephone systems and all scheduling workflows
  • Perform other related duties as required.
