About The Position

Patient Services Specialist - Registration at Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR On Call/Variable Shift - Sunday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday - 06:00-14:30 and 07:30-18:00 The Registrar is responsible for securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information and ensuring this is documented timely and accurately. Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
• National Certification of CHAA upon hire
• 3 years of experience in Patient Access of Business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years of utilization of medical terminology in job setting
• Knowledge in medical billing codes.
• 1 year knowledge of Epic applications
