About The Position

The position is for a full-time role in the Outpatient Rehabilitation department at Advocate Health in Matthews. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer relations experience required.
• Experience with Medical Records Software preferred.
• Front desk practice experience preferred.

• Provide exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to interact with patients and families in sensitive situations.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and decisive judgment in a hectic environment.
• Manage patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, collection, and cash receipting.
• Encourage patient utilization of front-end technology during the registration process.
• Enter and maintain confidential and accurate patient information.
• Assist billing functions accurately and direct to appropriate billing office.
• Demonstrate proficiency of emergency codes and appropriate responses.
• Monitor inventory and stock medications, narcotics, and emergency medications/equipment.
