Are you passionate about helping kids be their best selves? UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics is hiring a Full-Time Patient Services Representative to support the office in Pittsburgh. Responsibilities: Patient Interaction: Greet patients, assist with check-in, collect copayments, and update information. Scheduling: Arrange follow-up appointments and connect patients to services. Support: Help patients navigate the healthcare system and provide clear instructions. Technology: Register patients in Biometrics and promote MyUPMC portal. Financial Advocacy: Educate patients on financial responsibilities and connect them to resources. Compliance: Verify insurance, obtain consent signatures, and follow HIPAA regulations. Admin Tasks: Handle phone calls, scan records, and perform office duties.

Requirements

  • Completion of high school or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with personal computer-based applications, various office equipment, and proficient typing skills preferred.
  • Two years of experience in a medical, billing, fiscal, or customer service role preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Prior experience with Medipac, Epic, or other health records systems preferred.
