About The Position

Provides reception, registration, and clerical support to ensure smooth delivery of patient care, with a focus on excellent customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Greets patients, answers phones, and provides clerical support to clinical departments.
Schedules appointment times using computerized scheduling systems.
Verifies insurance benefits and obtains precertification or authorization when required.
Determines and accepts required payments such as co-pays and deductibles, or refers patients to financial counselors for follow-up.
Ensures all demographic, billing, and clinical information is collected and entered accurately and promptly in the registration system.
