About The Position

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for providing high-quality customer service to patients, co-workers, and all visitors to CHC. Pre and post-visit planning, patient outreach, panel management, coordination and facilitation of home visits, efficiently managing clinical patient flow including patient registration, coordinating with clinical staff, answering patient questions, and/or referring patients to other CHC services or departments. This is for multiple locations: South End, Riverside, Winooski, Good Health, Essex, Pearl Street, Champlain Islands, and Safe Harbor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience in a related field preferred.
  • Medical assistant (MA) experience preferred.

  • High-level customer service skills.
  • Good computer skills, including accurate data entry and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to convey detailed information clearly.
  • Ability to listen actively and ask clarifying questions.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Willingness to work in various locations and service lines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality customer service to patients, co-workers, and visitors.

  • Coordinate with clinical staff and answer patient questions.
  • Refer patients to other CHC services or departments as needed.
