The Patient Services Representative at Temple Physicians Inc. is responsible for managing the preregistration, re-registration, and re-verification processes for patients. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • 2 Years experience in a secretarial or clerical/general office position (Required)
  • 1 Year experience in a healthcare setting (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Complete preregistration, re-registration, and re-verification processes following department procedures.
  • Verify and document insurance coverage for scheduled services using electronic and manual sources.
  • Communicate daily with patients, caregivers, schedulers, and insurance companies via telephone.
  • Perform front desk functions and handle scheduling tasks.
  • Answer phones and greet patients and family members warmly.
  • Work as part of a team to enhance the patient experience.
