About The Position

The Patient Services Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth patient experience at Hillcrest Hospital Claremore. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Previous medical office experience is a plus.

  • Experience in a healthcare setting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
  • Verify insurance information and register patients accurately.
  • Collect payments for services and complete charge slips for data entry.
  • Ensure patient flow and availability of medical records.
  • Schedule appointments for physicians/providers and maintain their schedules.
  • Greet patients and ascertain their needs in a timely manner.
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and in a friendly manner.
  • Perform all duties as required to support quality patient care.
