Get to Know Your Team: UT Health East Texas Rehabilitation Center includes a 49-bed inpatient hospital, 14 outpatient therapy clinics, 11 cardiopulmonary rehabilitation clinics and nine Olympic fitness centers, with access to some of the most advanced therapy techniques and care available. The Patient Services Representative functions as a patient services professional in a clinical front desk environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- 2 years recent experience in a clinic or healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Patient check in/out, appointment scheduling, scanning and filing documents, and insurance verification.
- Obtaining authorization, collecting payments and charge posting.
- Faxing medical records requests and scheduling patients for injections at the hospital.
- Other duties as assigned
