Responsibilities

• Acts as a mentor to new entry-level Patient Services Representatives.
• Ensures the integrity of clinic data and patient information.
• Answers telephones and takes concise messages.
• Scans and indexes information into the medical record.
• Handles requests for medical records and basic scheduling.
• Requires population specific competencies.
• Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact.
