About The Position
Tanner Clinic has an immediate opening for a Patient Services Representative. This position involves greeting patients in a warm, friendly, and prompt manner, gathering patient and insurance information efficiently and accurately, and collecting and processing co-pays from the patient at the time of service. The representative will also generate fee slips with accurate physician information and obtain signatures on all legal documents when necessary. Additional responsibilities include answering telephones, screening calls, taking messages, and providing information to the appropriate source. The role requires entering patient data into the EHR system, directing and escorting patients to physician offices, and providing information to patients about how to make an appointment. The representative may also assist patients with the use of wheelchairs and monitor the work area to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. The position may require working urgent care hours and performing other duties as assigned.
