About The Position

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Patient Services Rep I provides patient-families with a positive experience at CHLA at the Pulmonology clinic. The PSR I will be performing clerical tasks primarily associated with answering incoming calls, registration, and patient check-in/out procedures, collection of patient co-pay or deductibles, scheduling and verifying patient appointments.

Requirements

• 1-year experience in customer service, preferably in a medical front office setting.
• Basic knowledge of computers, filing and organizational skills required.
• Ability to deal effectively with the public.
• High school diploma or GED required.
