The position provides coverage at multiple locations within the identified region of the outpatient division. Staffing assignments will be determined by the Office Supervisor and can vary on a week-to-week basis. The Patient Service Representative (PSR) will be assigned to a region to cover within the position. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, maintaining a positive disposition during patient interactions, instructing patients on completing necessary documents, scheduling appointments, compiling and archiving medical records, and assisting with registration and check-in functions. The role also involves financial functions, monitoring inventory, managing patient interactions, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
