Requirements

  • Associate degree with 1+ year of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in food service management, nutrition, or related field
  • 1+ year of food service management experience, ideally in an acute care environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EMR systems, and diet office technology

Nice To Haves

  • CDM, DTR, or RD credential preferred
  • ServSafe® certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing patient services team
  • Oversee daily operations of patient food services, aligning with medical direction and patient population needs
  • Ensure compliance with therapeutic diets and deliver a best-in-class patient dining experience
  • Drive patient satisfaction initiatives and consistently exceed service goals
  • Maintain full compliance with regulatory standards, HIPAA, and patient rights policies
  • Partner with leadership on Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives
  • Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement
