About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Patient Services Manager . This leadership role oversees the delivery of high-quality nutrition services to patients, ensuring meals and therapeutic diets meet clinical standards and individual needs. The ideal candidate combines strong clinical nutrition knowledge with operational management skills to lead food service teams and enhance patient satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management or related field required (Master’s preferred)
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential or ability to obtain one preferred .
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical nutrition and food service management role, at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets, clinical nutrition principles, and dietary guidelines for various medical conditions and populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, staff, and healthcare providers.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in staff supervision, training, and performance management.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in healthcare software and nutrition management systems and Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and infection control practices.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying abreast of current trends and research in clinical nutrition and food service management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of patient nutrition services, including meal planning, diet compliance, and food safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care plans.
  • Supervise and train food service staff, ensuring adherence to regulatory and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor patient feedback and implement service improvements to enhance satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Oversee inventory, purchasing, and budget management for dietary services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and utilize electronic health records for diet orders and assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and CMS guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned
