Patient Services Coordinator
About The Position
Under the direction of the Medical Director and/or Nurse Manager, this position’s primary function is to process referral requests, obtain authorization for medical services and/or admissions, and coordinate all aspects of the admission process if applicable. The responsibilities of the Patient Services Coordinator include data entry of referrals and authorizations, verification of eligibility and daily communication with insurance companies. The Patient Service Coordinator works closely with the clinical team and medical providers to provide care for our patients in a timely manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years' experience working in healthcare OR Two (2) years' experience working in customer service
- Proficient PC skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology

- Basic computer skills; EHR, Excel, Microsoft Office
