Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive, calm demeanor
  • A natural connector — people feel welcome and at ease around you
  • Calm and patient, even during busy periods
  • Proactive: you anticipate needs and solve small problems before they become big ones

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients with genuine warmth, making them feel like valued members of the Forward Focus family
  • Build personal relationships with patients over time — remembering their preferences and needs
  • Guide new patients through the onboarding process, helping them feel at home in our practice
  • Provide attentive, unhurried phone support for patients with a range of needs
  • Schedule appointments while ensuring patients receive the time and attention they deserve
  • Conduct reminder calls for upcoming appointments, including annual physical exams
  • Answer incoming calls warmly and direct messages to the appropriate clinical team members
  • Maintain patient records with meticulous attention to detail
  • Process office visit fees accurately and discreetly
  • Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information
  • Support the clinical team through scanning, emailing, faxing, and other administrative tasks
