About the position

Whether you are working directly with patients in one of our clinics or in a support role, you are an important part of our mission to deliver the highest quality, compassionate care. As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will assist our patients through the check-in and/or check-out process so they can have a positive and consistent experience from the moment they walk in the door. This position will travel between 5 of our locations.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first friendly face that helps patients through their experience at the clinic.
  • Provide a positive first impression with an upbeat and helpful attitude.
  • Complete the check-in process in a timely manner and notify clinical staff when a patient has arrived.
  • Provide red carpet customer service by assessing patient needs and providing necessary information.
  • Collect copays and patient balances as necessary and provide receipts of payment.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling with patients and clinical staff according to guidelines.
  • Navigate and chart patient information using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
  • Keep the lobby and desk area tidy.
  • Assist with any additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) is a must.

Nice-to-haves

  • An associate's degree in a business-related field.
