Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Medical office experience preferred but not required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience with Google Docs and Sheets
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining detail-oriented
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients to ActivePT
  • Ensuring a great experience for all patients through customer service
  • Managing the patient schedules of 16 practitioners at six locations with high attention to detail
  • Accepting payments
  • Answering phones
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Filing paperwork and entering confidential patient data
  • Faxing and scanning documents
  • Corresponding with other professional offices
  • Maintaining the office's presentation by organizing and cleaning the space
  • Using and rapidly moving between multiple computer systems
