Patient Services Assistants play a vital role in supporting both front and back-office operations at the Center for Health and Prevention Reproductive Healthcare Clinics. They help ensure smooth clinic flow, maintain accurate medical records, input data into the Practice Management System/Electronic Health Records (PMS/EHR), and provide client education. These assistants adhere to all federal, state, and grant requirements while upholding CAPSLO’s mission. Their responsibilities include assisting with patient registration, offering respectful and compassionate service, and helping ensure clients are seen by medical providers in a timely manner. What you bring to the table: Level I: Must possess a Medical Assistant (MA) certificate, Certified Nurse’s Assistant certificate (CNA) or onsite training. 6 months of front or back-office experience in a medical practice desired. Must have a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age. Level II: One year of related experience, plus a minimum of one year as a Patient Services Assistant I for The Center for Health and Prevention, and proficient in all level I front or back-office duties. OR Three years of experience in a medical environment plus a minimum of six months as a Patient Services Assistant I at The Center for Health & Prevention and proficient in all level I front or back-office duties. Level III: Two years of related medical experience plus a minimum of two years as a Patient Services Assistant or an equivalent combination of both. Must be proficient in all Level I and II responsibilities. Fluency in two or more languages, including one that supports the needs of the program and community is preferred, but not required
