About The Position

Patient Services Assistant - Periop-Full Time evenings The Patient Service Assistant functions in a multi-faceted capacity in the Operating Room. Works under the supervision of the Patient Care Director or designee. Provides escort and transport service. Performs STAT errands. Performs assigned duties to assist the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse/OR Technician. Provides for patient safety. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Current BLS certification
  • At least 3 years related experience in hospital/healthcare setting
  • Must have the ability to read and write English with good command of verbal English

Nice To Haves

  • Previous patient care experience in the Operating Room preferred
