As a member of the Resource Team, it is expected that the Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) will strive to achieve the highest standards of excellence everyday, demonstrating Exemplary Covenant Values, Outstanding Clinical Skills, and Amazing Flexibility. The role of the Health Unit Coordinator includes a variety of receptionist, secretarial, and unit operational duties for an assigned patient care unit. A primary aspect of this role includes positive relations with patients, guests, physicians, co-workers and other departments. The Health Unit Coordinator demonstrates excellent customer service. He/She upholds the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Covenant, and commits to Extraordinary Care for Every Generation.
