About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Waxahachie (Chenault), TX is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (PSS). This is an entry-level, part-time position (20-24 hrs/week) with compensation based on experience and internal equity. The role requires an organized, adaptable individual who can work independently or collaboratively. The candidate will provide outstanding customer service, process referrals, schedule patients, complete intake, perform data entry, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, review benefits, collect copays, manage patient arrivals and scheduling, and handle billing and closing reports, along with other tasks as needed. Travel to other locations may be required.

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED is required
